Event Summary:
CommWorld is the most comprehensive communications and broadcast technology event in the Philippines. The show is supported by prime institutions in the Philippine telecom industry including the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), Philippine Chamber of Telecommunications Operators, Inc. (PCTO) and Integrated Telecommunication Suppliers Association of the Philippines (ITESAP) and others. The show organizer expects to attract over 12,000 attendeees and more than 100 exhibitors will showcase leading products and equipment in demand by the telecommunications, broadcast, electronics, information technology and E-Commerce industries. The ICT industry in the Philippines industry remains one of the more robust sectors. In 2006 the import value of ICT equipment exceeded USD 2 billion. Export include value-added services, content, and innovative applications for wireless and broadband. CommWorld provides a cost effective means for U.S. firms to penetrate this working market. For a fee of US$1,500, U.S. companies will receive the following services: use of meeting space and lounge for one-on-one meetings arranged to meet the U.S. company's objectives; shell scheme 2x2 booth space to demonstrate products or services; a list of trade leads generated from visitor's interest and invitations to briefings and receptions.
